No turning back now. I took the day off from work today to get started with our floor project early. Carol took half a day off. By the time she got here I had been able to get up all of the carpet and pad. It was really nasty. There was a pile of dirt on the concrete below it. I had gotten up all of the tack boards, vaccuumed the worst of the dirt, and started pulling nails out of the concrete when Carol came home. After taking a quick break for lunch we finished the cleaning of the room in preparation for putting down our moisture guard. After making another trip to Lowe’s (our third trip for this project) for tape, we got started on putting down the moisture barrier. And that is where we are now. The dogs seem to like the plastic. ND
