Carol and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with her mom this weekend. She came in on Friday evening and was able to stay until Tuesday morning. We had beautiful weather and were able to get out and do some things. We were able to go to the Butterfly Rainforest on the campus of UF and I got to take some pictures. Butterflies are beautiful creatures. It was great to have our first overnight visitor. Lucy, our younger dog, absolutely fell in love with Nana Reid. The only downer of the weekend was that both Carol and I started coming down with a cold and had to medicate ourselves. Luckily we are both feeling better this evening as we prepare to fly to Nebraska tomorrow for Christmas with my family. Here is an example of the beautiful butterflies on display at the UF garden.
