Corn and Peanuts
What is it about corn and peanuts that no matter how well you chew them, they exit the body looking the same as before they went in? They are indestructable!
I don’t know if it is a special property of corn and peanuts or if it is an ability of the human body to put the corn and peanuts back together once they hit the digestive system, or some combination of both. But whatever the case, the United States goverment needs to look into this phenomenon for possible uses in the military. Imagine the money the goverment could save if tanks and airplanes (etc) that took a hit were able to somehow become whole again on their own without spending money on fixing or replacing them!
Or imagine the possibilities for consumers. A car that fixes itself after being in an accident. That would cut the costs of car insurance WAY down since you would only need to have insurance in case the people involved got hurt. But minor fender benders wouldnt cost anyone anything. Or what about clothes that get torn and fix themselves. You would only have to buy new clothes when you gained weight or the clothes became outdated. Shingles on the roof get hail damage? No problem. The neighbor kid sends a baseball through the picture window? No problem. The kids at church decided to continue their painting from the paper to the walls and the carpet? No problem. You punched a hole in the wall of your living room while watching a Nebraska football bowl game? No problem. The possibilities are endless! Why isnt someone getting goverment grants to research the amazing properties of corn and peanuts?!!
