Our trip to the Midwest

From July 15-19 we spent some time in Beatrice, Nebraska for my Dad’s 60th Birthday party. We got to see some family that we hadn’t seen in a while and some that Grant had never met. We enjoyed time at the park and had a great time at the birthday party. Here are a few pictures from that trip.

From July 19-22 we went to Lawrence, Kansas to visit Carol’s mom and some friends in the Kansas City area. We visited with Ginny and then had a play date with Emory and Erica, a friend of Carol’s. Emory and Grant are only a month apart in age.

Grant also enjoyed playing with Nana’s toys during the time we spent at her house. He learned to sit in Grampy’s chair and he played with Lollipop. He also enjoyed having Nana read him stories.
