Carol’s Birthday

Happy 48th birthday to Carol! I had an old 40 candle that we no longer needed and an 8 candle from when Jenna turned that age, so I just broke off the zero from the 40 and put the 8 next to it. Carol got a kick out of that. She also got a good laugh from a card that Grant made her that reminded her that she isn’t old and from a pair of crazy yoga pants that I got her.

Easter Family Gathering

We were able to get together with Nate’s family for Easter since the weather wasn’t too terribly cold.

Dance and Horse Riding

Jenna enjoyed participating in a dance class and the kids enjoyed continuing their horse riding lessons.

Anniversary

Nate and Carol celebrated another wedding anniversary. Happy 18th Anniversary to us!

Grant’s Birthday

Nana came into town to celebrate Grant’s 14th birthday.

Gardens

Carol’s vegetable and flower gardens began to take shape in May.

Bike Camp

Jenna went to bike camp in June to try to improve her skills. Let’s just say that another bike camp is probably warranted.

Father’s Day

For Father’s Day 2022, I got breakfast in bed. And later in the day, I was gifted some mini-bunt cakes. Yum!

Family Fishing Outing

We got the together with my parents at a lake not too far from our house for a little fishing. We caught a few Crappie and some Bullheads. No record breakers, but it was nice to actually catch something. Most times when we go fishing, we catching nothing.

Pool Time!

Summer is always a great time to enjoy the pool!

Hair Donation

Carol once again grew out her hair and then cut it short to donate it to an organization that creates wigs for person’s who have lost their hair due to medical treatments that they are recieving.
