Carol’s Birthday Present

Tonight I suprised Carol with an early birthday present. Well, she knew we were getting it, but she didnt expect it NOW. It wasnt supposed to come in for another week or two. But when I stopped by home for lunch today there was a message from Lowe’s that it was ready to be picked up. So I called our friend Tom as I was leaving work this afternoon and he was nice enough to volunteer to help get it to our house. So we jumped in his truck and picked it up and had it all in place before she came home from work (luckily she had several stops to make on the way home!). It is something we have wanted since we first moved in. A new stove! The old one had only two functional burners and they seemed to work only when THEY wanted to. And it was nasty dirty. So we decided to get a new one. She noticed the new one sitting there within seconds of entering the kitchen.
