So we bought some more Desitin the other day for Grant’s ongoing diaper rash problem. And we didn’t see the Desitin Creamy that we normally buy so we just bought Desitin Original. Now I know why the company came out with a new formula. The Original stinks to high heaven! Carol tells me that the smell comes from cod liver oil in it (and she would know, because she drank the stuff as a kid). I knew there was a reason that I’ve managed to avoid cod liver oil my whole life. After several days of using this Orginal cream, I think I actually prefer the smell of Grant’s poo over the odor of the diaper rash product! I am really looking forward to running out of this cream so we can replace it with Creamy Desitin.
