Easter Weekend
On the Saturday before Easter there was a huge event at our church – Trinity United Methodist – for kids. So we took Grant.
There were Easter egg hunts for all ages.
A visit from the (Build-a-Bear) Easter Bunny.
Pony rides.
Giant inflatable toys for jumping in and sliding down.
A petting zoo.
Free snow cones.
Grant seemed to have a good time. Mama and Dada did too!
On Sunday, we went to Easter service at church.
And then came home and gave Grant his Easter basket which was made up of gifts from several family members (thanks everyone!).
First, he opened each egg.
Inside he found goodies, like stickers.
And an Easter duckie.
Then he saw a bubble wand, which he immediately wanted opened. So Mama helped him.
Then he found and read each book.
And looked at the sheet of stickers that was behind the books.
And finally, he decided to completely empty the Easter basket.
And, of course, he left Mama and Dada to clean up the mess.
I just finished looking at the pics and video of Easter–again! It looks like you all had a wonderful weekend. Wish we could have been at the petting zoo, etc. to see him interact with the animals.He was great with the animals. Did he like the Elmo salad book?
