Last weekend I was able to experience my first Florida Gator football game. It was awesome! Florida was able to beat a tough Alabama football team. The Swamp, as the football stadium is called, is a great football environment. Very loud. I can see why it is one of the hardest places for teams to come into and win. I had a really good time. I enjoyed learning all of the chants (It’s great…to be…a Florida Gator) and watching how into the game the crowd was. It reminds me a lot of football games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE. Except this stadium holds about 20,000 more people than the Huskers stadium holds. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to go and watch a game. Go Gators!
