Florida Keys Trip 2015
We were able to get away from Gainesville during Grant’s spring break this year and head down to Long Key to see Nana Reid. We started down to the keys on Monday, March 23rd and were able to stay until the morning of March 28th. Besides a bit of rain the first full morning we were there and a storm the night before we left, we enjoyed great weather. We were able to do quite a few things in our short time there and had a ton of fun. We enjoyed: swimming in the canal, going to the pool, seeing dolphins and sea lions at the Dolphin Research Center, walking a trail out to Crane Point and seeing the wild bird sanctuary at Crane Point Hammock, splashing in the ocean at the Outdoor Resorts beach, viewing sunsets, riding on a golf cart, and seeing tarpon while out on a boat ride (thanks Bill!). As always, Nana spoiled us with her hospitality and great meals (including a delicious berry pie!). We love you Nana!
Here are lots of pictures of our time in the Keys.
