Well, the holiday vacation is over and we are back to work. It was tough getting up this morning and getting to work on time. I would have preferred to stay in bed. If I slept with a bat next to my bed, I am pretty sure that I would be going to the store tonight to buy a new alarm clock.

Carol and I were able to travel to Nebraska to spend some time with my family (with an overnight stay in Lawrence, KS on the way back to Gainesville). We really enjoyed the time spent with family – we only wish that we would have gotten to see more members of the extended family. For those friends and family we were unable to see this trip, we hope to see you the next time and hope that you had a great Christmas and New Years.
