Lake Rental House – Lake of the Ozarks

We rented a house on the Lake of the Ozarks and had a great time, even though the weather was definitely getting colder. The water temperature was in the 40s or 50s while we were there. Even so, we took our kayaks because there was a private dock.  It also had a hot tub, which was wonderful!

And we did! It was like a polar plunge! Brrr!

Horse Lessons

Unbelievably, the weather was nice enough to continue horse riding lessons into November.

Carol’s New Job

Carol applied for and got a job at Southeast Community College teaching a Chemistry 1 lab class.  She started in January.

Gifting the Playhouse

The kids had outgrown their old playhouse, so Grant and Nate re-painted the playhouse and we gifted it to Nate’s parents so that the younger grandkids, Beckett and Emberly, could play in it while visiting them.

Jenna’s Birthday

Jenna turned 10 years old on December 14, 2022!

Christmas Lights – At Home and Around Town

In preparation for Christmas, we once again put up Christmas lights on the exterior of our house.  We also went to a drive-thru light display.

We also went and saw the Zoo lights again this year.
