Uncle Andrew recently sent Grant a book called“It’s You and Me Against the PEE… and the POOP Too!” by Julia Cook and Dr. Laura Jana. In it, a boy named Stanley explains to his friends how he became a Potty Expert by playing a game.

Carol and I had been struggling to find a way to motivate Grant to put his poop in the potty and after receiving the book we decided to make up a chart for Grant to become a Poop Expert.

Each day, Grant and Poop square off in a battle and whoever gets the most stars wins the day (ties go to Grant).  Poop gets a star if Grant wakes up with poop in his diaper, but Grant gets a star each time he puts poop in the potty.  The Grant vs Poop game has been going on for over a week now and Grant is doing REALLY well.

Grant is well on his way to being a Poop Expert!
