This year we traveled for Thanksgiving instead of Christmas.  The first half of the trip, including Thanksgiving Day, was spent with my side of the family and the second half was spent with Carol’s.  This worked out nicely because both of Carol’s sisters were able to be together after Thanksgiving but if we’d gone to Lawrence, KS first, we’d have missed her sister Sharon.

It was a great trip, filled with delicious meals and wonderful time spent with family.  Grant enjoyed seeing his Aunts and Uncles on both sides of the family.  He also got to play with his cousins Alyssa and Mason.  And he heard his first guitar concert and got his first guitar lesson from Mason while he was there.  Who knows, maybe someday Grant and Mason can perform together.
