So it is done. Carol and I are now officially the owners of only one home. The closing went through this morning on our house in Overland Park. The money has been transferred to our checking account and our mortgage should be paid off by Monday night if all the paperwork gets sent through the bank. What a relief! We are glad it is over.

And even more glad to be done dealing with our real estate agent. He turned out to be a giant pain in the buttock**. If you ever are in the market to buy or sell a home in the Kansas City area, I would suggest avoiding the agent we used. I dont want to mention any names, (Chuck Jansen at Realty Executives -Leawood, KS office) but our agent is definitely one to avoid. Oh, the stories I could share!

But I won’t focus on the negative. We are excited to have it over with. We celebrated by going out to dinner at Po’ Boys. It is definitely a joyous day! ND
