Jenna’s Baptism
We had Jenna baptized on October 20th while Nana was in town. Jenna was baptized in the gown that Nana made 20 years ago for Alyssa to wear. Each of her four grandchildren have now been baptized in it. The gown has been well taken care of and is still beautiful. The baptism was very beautiful as well. Grant was excited to announce his sister for baptism and spoke her name very clearly. Several people complimented him on the job he did after the service. Jenna was awake and happy for the service and did not seem to mind the water being placed on her head. After her baptism, she even went to Pastor Dan willingly and did not fuss at all while he held her up for the congregation to see. Once again people complimented Nana after the service on the beautiful gown as they did when Grant was baptized in it five years ago. Here is a video and some pictures of the blessed event. A special thanks to our friends Tom and Linda for handling camera duty.
Finally got my computer to let me view and hear the baptismal service. Grant did a great job introducing his sister. Your pastor is so genuine and did a wonderful job. I liked that they put pictures up of Jenna and closed the baptism with the congregation singing “Yes, Jesus Loves Me.” What a blessing to see Jenna’s picture with those words beneath it. Yes, Jenna, Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life. Gramma and Pa love you, too!
It was an honor and pleasure to be a part of Jenna’s special day of Baptism. God bless us all.
