Cheer Competition

Jenna competed in her first ever cheer competition in Council Bluffs, IA, about an hour away. She was very nervous, but did great and earned a superior rating and a medal for her cheer routine with her cheer partner, Ava. We were very proud of her for performing in front of hundreds of people.

Neil Diamond Musical

Nate bought two tickets to an off-broadway show about Neil Diamond’s life and took his Dad, since the two of them are both big fans of Neil Diamond. It was an amazing show!

Nate’s Birthday

Nate is another year older. 48 looks great!!

Wrecked Car

Grant was rear ended in a 4 car accident on the way to school. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the car was drivable. We decided to get the old Dodge fixed and Grant is still driving it today.

Spring Break Trip to a Cabin near Truman Lake

For Spring Break, we rented a log cabin on Truman Lake near Clinton, MO. Nate did lots of epic fishing, we kayaked a little bit, hiked, cooked out and had fire pits. It was a relaxing week. Unfortunately, at the end of the trip, someone stole our big two person kayak. We have not recovered it.
